Background/Product Description:
This is my first experience purchasing something from this company. NOVICA, works hard to bring us precious and unique pieces of art from around the world and allowing millions of local artisans to sell their handmade products. Sadly for me, I am not skilled enough in the creation of art but I have a deep love for it. Therefore, when I took some time to visit their company website and learn a little bit about their mission, I felt so touched and happy. I come from a small town and it is really hard for artists to make a decent living so I am happy that such company exists. For their success and for us, who are able to get one of their products. All items comes with a NOVICA Story Card certifying the quality and authenticity as well as sharing a few words on the inspiration and methods of production. It is quite a nice gesture.

Overall Experience:
I purchased a pair of earrings, named "Green Earth". The name by itself caught my attention because I love anything green, blue, and earth or nature related. These earrings were design by Nareerat, an artisan from Thailand. These are handmade "carnelian, garnet, citrine and dyed blue resin above calcite spheres that have been dyed a bluish green".
I thought they looked pretty in the pictures but when I saw them in person, they look even better. They come in a nice bag that can be use to keep them protected from dust or any other damage. The bag is not made amazing well, though. I noticed some loose threads and some of the stitches are coming loose and undone. It is not a big deal for me because I can fix it easily but I thought it is fair that you know. The interior of the bag is not lined and it is just a basic bag. I still find the print to be really pretty and elegant.
Each earring comes in a separate clear ziplock bag to prevent them from scratching. The colors are so pretty and they compliment each other so well. I can wait to use this pair of earrings more during the spring. I have wore them so many times since I got them and I always get compliments and people wanting to know where I got them and what each rock means. I like the balanced and design of the earrings. The different shapes, colors and number of beads is perfect. I also love the gold wire, it completes the design and gives it a very organic look.
The came without backs so I was worried that they would fall or that I would need to constantly readjust them in place but they fit nicely and do not come off. Also, I have sensible earrings and I can only wear certain earrings because I get skin irritations but this ones did not irritated my skin or produce any redness. YAY!

* Overall: I'm in love with this brand of products and I will be looking forward to buying a new item from them in the future. The quality and manufactured is great. I am really happy with these earrings and I would recommend them to other. These would make a great gift.
