I recently I was lucky again and Influenter.com selected me to receive the Fiesta VoxBox. Last time, I received the Fresca VoxBox, I got a sample of Not Your Mother's Clean Freak Purifying Shampoo and Conditioner. Well, this time I got a sample of their Beach Babe Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner (#NYMBeachBabe). If you read my previous review, then you know that I really liked their Clean Freak line especially the shampoo so once I ran out my shampoo, i went to the store to get me a full size but I was only able to get the Beach Babe Moisturizing shampoo. I read in the description of the bottle that it was infused with coconut oil so I thought if I liked the other one and this one claims to be moisturizing, it might work great on my curly hair. Well, I was wrong.

• In addition, it is biodegradable (meaning that it won't clog your pipes or your pores.
• Gently cleanses, hydrates and adds volume with an infusion of cocounut oil and Sea Kelp.

THOUGHTS:

While I had some experience with the shampoo prior to Influenster.com sent me a sample, I had not tried their conditioner and also the consistency has changed. I hated and still do, the texture of the shampoo since my first time I used it. Because it is thick and it takes a lot of squeezing and pressing to get the product out of the tube. I can't image how it is going to be when I am about to use it up. Also, since the formula is so thick you have to massage it in your hands prior to apply it because otherwise you will have more shampoo in some areas of your hair and little on others. However, as you massage it in it becomes like a regular shampoo. I know, some of you might be thinking, "relax, it does not seem like it should be that hard" but I am being honest, I really, really do not like the texture. One last comment on this topic, while comparing my full size and the sample I got from influenster, I noticed that the texture was different. I got the reformulated version and the one from influenster might be the older version and that is why it is more like the regular shampoo texture.




On the topic of being good for the hair, it does has good ingredients and it does not include harsh and damaging ingredients. So I like that aspect about it. As you know, I have curly hair and my hair tends to react best to gentle and mild cleansers that do not stripped my hair out of moisture. This is a nice shampoo but my hair does feel dry afterwards so I do not like that. I does do a nice job at cleaning my hair and adding shine.

THOUGHTS:

Since the shampoo leaves my hair thirsty for moisture, I hoped that conditioner would help me. It is a pretty decent conditioner. But I have to use a lot to bring back the life of my hair so it is not budget friendly. It does has slip and it makes detagling easy and it has a really nice smell like coconuts. I really like the smell so refreshing. The texture is almost like a light leave-in conditioner or a styling milk. So you can imaging that why you would feeling like you have to use a lot. It is not my favorite.





In this picture you can see the dryness of my hair afterwards, especially the hair close to my scalp.

WOULD I REPURCHASE IT?

The answer is no. The conditioner is alright but it is not amazing enough for me to buy three bottles per shampoo. It would be to expensive plus I would not be doing much for my hair. The shampoo is out of the question, I am so sad that they changed the formula. Perhaps it was for added hydration but it does not do that at all. I love the scent but individually or together, they do not bring new or better benefits for my hair. I would not recommend it to curly hair people.

THOUGHTS:

This shampoo worked really well for me and it made my hair super soft and clean with stripping my hair of its natural oils. Along with the conditioner and got a great result. PLUS no harsh chemicals and amazing smell. It is pretty obvious that I love this shampoo. However, with that said, this is not a shampoo for everyone. It does not have harsh cleaning agents so if you are the type of person who likes squeaky clean hair or that usually suffers from product buildup, this might not be for you.

The reason I love this shampoo (in addition to the previous mentioned reasons :D) is that it is the perfect middle ground product between the harsh traditional shampoo and the no-poo options. It does not have any sulfate, silicone, parabens or dyes. For these reasons, it cleans my hair without irritating my scalp or over drying my hair. Also, I really like the fact that it is not only a great product for our hair but also not tested on animals and it is environmentally friendly. Highly recommend!

THOUGHTS:

I love the scent of the conditioner as much as I love the scent of the shampoo. It also has amazing ingredients that condition and protect the hair. It is a pleasant experience to use both the shampoo and conditioner every morning as it provides a burst of energy and wakes me up. In addition to the Mint and raspberry extracts and conditioning agents, this conditioner contains quinoa which is known to nourish the hair and protect the hair. This conditioner is very light (similar to a leave-in conditioner) but it provides enough amount of moisture. I provides great slip of you tend to brush or detangle your hair in the shower, this conditioner will allow to do it effortless.

WOULD I REPURCHASED?

Definitely! Especially the shampoo. I deep clean my scalp once or twice a month. So I do not have a problem with product built up. So this shampoo is perfect for me. As for the conditioner, it is great but I have cheaper alternatives that I tend to use more. But I highly recommend both.

THOUGHTS:

The No. 1 (aka my favorite) blend has a very sweet and fresh floral and fruity scent. The No. 2 blend is as describe a light and warm fragrance of roses. The No. 3 blend (aka my second favorite) is the strongest of the three. Although it is quite strong compare to the other two, and I don’t usually like strong scents, I quite enjoyed this one. The smell of magnolia and juniper is the first thing you smell, then you smell the sweet smell of blackberries. After testing them, my favorites are No. 3 and No. 2 individually and the combination of the two. Also, it is not the No. 2 does not smell good but after an allergic reaction to rose water, I pretty much do not respond well to anything that has a rose scent. Not that it smells like rose water.


I am quite sensitive scents and tend to have terrible migraines but with this JAFRA blends I did not have any problem. The scents are lovely and sweet but subtle enough to be worn by anyone for any occasion. These scents are perfect for the spring and summer time as they are more in the floral and sweet side. I have received many compliments while wearing them.

WOULD I REPURCHASE?

I received a deluxe sample of the Pure Silk Rich & Luxurious Shave Cream with Aloe in the scent Raspberry Mist in my Fresca VoxBox from influenster.com for free. But all my opinions are my own. I decided to write a review about it.

MY THOUGHTS:

This is my first time trying out a shaving cream from Pure Silk and I have to say I am really impress. The foam it creates is rich and luscious and it makes it incredibly smooth to shave. The creamy texture really helped the razor glide on the skin and get a smooth shave. Most importantly, I got a really close shave and there were no razor burns. The foam allows for a close shave but it does not clog your razor.  Also, the raspberry scent is amazing. The scent is one of my favorite parts of these shaving cream. I am in love with it. 

In terms of ingredients, if you have sensitive skin, please be aware of the ingredients. It contains Isobutane, Propane, and Butane which are a colorless and odorless gas used as aerosol propellants. They are used as alternatives to chlorofluorocarbons, or CFC propellants which have been proven to have negative effects on the environment. Some experts say that Isobutane, Propane, and Butane do not pose dangers to the ozone layer, but these ingredients may still pose minor health risks. Although the FDA has approved the usage of this ingredients in cosmetics, it pays to know if you are allergic or prefer more natural products. 

Also, it uses Sodium Lauryl Sulfate as its cleaning agent and emulsifying and foaming agent which is consider one of the most irritating cleaning agents in skin-care products. However, it has not been proven that there is no link between these ingredients and cancer. So, do your research and do not believe false rumors.With that said, this ingredient can cause skin irritation to some people. So make sure you read the list of ingredients and directions before using any skin-care product.


REPURCHASE???

I am really happy with the results and how long my shave lasts. So I will most probably buy it again when I run out. I would really recommended for people who like scented shaving creams and who like a creamy texture for there shaving cream. I have been using body lotion and conditioner for a while now and it did a good job and it left my skin nourished but these shaving cream offers a closer shave, and not chance of razor burns or cuts.

I am a huge tea lover so do not be surprise to read a couple tea reviews in the future. Although this is my first review, I have tried so many different teas from different brands. I went to the grocery store last month to get my mother her favorite Numi tea (Jasmine Green) but the store did not have anymore. I decided to purchase this one because I had not try a chocolate flavor tea before and I wanted to experience it.
